Hey Everyone! So much going on! The
next book in the Nocelli Guitar Method series is being released in 2 weeks -
Melodic Minor Modes In Motion! I know a lot of you have already purchased and
are jamming out to the corresponding Backing Jam Tracks (available in Rock and
Jazz), and thanks for all the awesome feedback on those! I'm stoked you are
enjoying them and can't wait for you to delve into the Melodic Minor book!
Big thanks to every single one of
you who have come out to see my tour dates and appearances this year, you guys
rock, and I love seeing each and every one of you at the shows!
There's a lot brewing and in the
works including some new single releases as well as the next book in the
series, which I can't wait to dive into! There will also be some new advanced
guitar clinic videos posted soon, as well as a mini online series where I'll
explain *your* guitar theory, soloing, improv questions!

Hey Everyone!
It's been an exciting and crazy
spring with lots of exciting things going on. The EvoLucien Tour is in full
swing with tour dates all around the country. Thank you to all of YOU the fans
for coming out to the theater and jazz rooms showing your love for the album,
you are all amazing! Many of the shows are sold out, and that is thanks to you
for coming out to support the tour.
Also very exciting, today the
Backing Jam Tracks were released for Modes In Motion. You can pick up your
tracks on iTunes, eMusic, Amazon.com or order them from the shop on this site
with free shipping. I've had so many people email and ask me for these tracks
to use when working on soloing and improvising with the modes method book Modes
In Motion, so this should really help you to maximize your practice time with
the method.
Keep shooting me emails, questions,
comments and letters, I love hearing from each and every one of you! Lots of
exciting things to come, including a performance next week at the Brookdale PAC
of Lake Turkana and Out of Africa featuring Julianna Lombard (dancer), as well

Hey Everyone!
So many exciting things are
happening over here, most of all, the first music video for EvoLucien is now up
online, so check it out! It's for the title track, "EvoLution"
(Mutation, Natural Selection, Genetic Drift). It was a blast to shoot, and I'm
physced that it's officially out now.
Also check out the website for new
pictures, gear info, tour dates and all kinds of cool stuff.
Please take a second after you watch
the "EvoLution" video to share it with your friends, your facebook
and to leave a comment on the youtube page!
And remember to try to find the
"mutation musical note" in the mutation section of the song and let
me know where you think it is, and when "genetic drift" takes over to
make it part of the actual melody at the end. Have fun!

The official live videos are up for
"Out of Africa" and "Lake Turkana" from the Brookdale
Performing Arts Center Dance Ensemble performance. It was a great evening
filled with a ton of talented dancers. It was a pleasure to perform with
Juliana Lombard who cherographed and performed the two pieces. Thanks for
everyone who came out to see the show, it was a fun night and was great to see
you all there!

Things as always are busy in the
recording studio with some new music I'm working on which I can't wait to share
with you! The EvoLucien Tour is also going fantastic with many of the theaters
nation wide sold out! It's been very exciting, and as always thanks to *you*
the fans for all the love and support!

It's official today, EvoLucien is
released and on sale everywhere! It's my newest Jazz Fusion album release and
is a complete concept album experience, between the music, the artwork and the
packaging. It's a musical sound scape of the possible scenarios regarding our
human origins including the most distinguished hominid species and their
progression to become human through natural evolution and some doses of genetic
engineering, then becoming human through the final stages of the genetic
engineering process. It also comes with a 24 page booklet with information
regarding the subject matter and information about each of the songs.

The reviews and feedback have been
great. Thank you all for all the love and support and excitement with the
album, it's really been great to hear all of your comments and everything.

Hey Everyone! Things have been
really busy. I've been recording the last stretch of the new album EvoLucien
like crazy, getting real excited for it's release.
?
We've also been busy shooting some
new music video's of EvoLucien, as well as some advanced instructional guitar
videos. All of this is squeezed in between the tour concert dates of the
"Lucien" and Beatlemania shows.
?
Check out the new page dedicated to
EvoLucien and what it's all about. It's really been a great project to create
for myself as well as Sheri. The whole album is a concept album to the max,
including the concept and inspiration of the music as well as a complete
artistic aspect which features original artwork created by Sheri in an
incredible style called Pointillism which requires hundreds of hours of work
just to complete one piece. The new page goes into much more detail about
everything, so check it out!

I want to thank each and everyone of
you for being the best fans! Your support and enthusiasm about my music, method
book, tours and mostly your excitement about the new album has been the best

and update on the release of EvoLucien.. we're getting close! Final touches are
being done in mixing and mastering and then we'll be ready to roll! Evolucien
will be released in September, and I'm excited to get it out into your hands!

Hey Everyone!
I've been real busy
with touring and recordings lately, and haven't had the chance to update here
as often as I would like. I do want to give a shout out to Ron Palillo (Horse
Shack from Welcome Back Kotter, which I watched weekly as a kid) who I met
while playing at a music festival out near Syracuse, NY. He got up and joined
us for a song onstage which was a blast, definitely a memorable time.
?
In the midst of all my projects,
I've also begun the long awaited instructional video for advanced guitar to go
along with my method book which is already published, Modes In Motion.
?
Recordings are going strong for the
jazz fusion album EvoLucien as well. I hoping to get some snippets from the
tracks posted on my wesbite soon as little "tastes of what's to come"
for all of you who have been emailing asking about it.
?
Again, thanks for coming out to the
shows this summer, it's been great seeing so many familiar faces. Looking
forward to seeing you out in Staten Island on Tuesday. See you all there!

Hey Everyone! It was great seeing
some familiar and some new faces up in Maine this month. Thanks for coming out,
you were a great audience, as you always are up in Kennebunk!
Recording are still moving along for
EvoLucien, as I said in my last blog, it's a rather large project being all
instrumental, and the fact that I choose to record most of the instruments
myself.
We also took a few weeks off from
recording since we have been so busy with Beatlemania Stage Show. The 2010 tour
is kicking in, and we have lots of exciting updates going on. A new video,
Eleanor Rigby was released, and more videos are to come which is really

along for the new album, things are sounding great, and we should have a solid
release date soon which is really exciting. This is a huge project, a complete

now as recordings are being done for my new project, my latest jazz fusion
release 'EvoLucien'. This is a very exciting concept album which I am excited

Hey Everyone! Things have been just
absolutely crazy good. Recordings are going well on both of my latest projects,
the Acoustic rock album, as well as a Jazz/Jazz Fusion project, which is very
exciting for me since it's been a little while since my last Jazz / Jazz Fusion
release. It will be extremely aggressive, heavy Jazz Fusion compositions.
I'm looking forward to seeing
everyone out in Demarest, NJ on May 23rd! It's gonna be a lot of fun, and a
great night all for a great cause.

well for the video No Rest (from Deal With It). It's really exciting it's a
fun, sarcastic video - pretty much like the song itself. Recordings are also
going well for the upcoming rock acoustic album, which doesn't have a set
release date yet, but will be this spring. Check back for updates, we will send
out an e-mail to everyone for the launch of the No Rest video as soon as it's
available!

Hey Everyone!
Things are buzzing and
brewing. Recordings are going well for the new Acoustic album. I have so much
material which I've written over this past year that I am anxious to get out to
you guys, both acoustic and electric. But of course we cannot forget about the
current release Deal With It which is being reborn, since it's tour was put on
hold with Sheri's illness.
Video production has started for songs from Deal With It and the second video is scheduled for release in about a month.
I'll be updating you every step of the way and keep you informed on what's going on.

Hey Everyone!
Wow, what a year! From
the moment of the release of Deal With It in February till now, it's been one
long day - great and not so great (referring to Sheri's battle with Leukemia).
For those of you who know, she is feeling stronger every day and as of the
latest test there is no sign of Leukemia. Again, for those of you who don't
know her story, you can check out her website at:

Each year LucienNocelli.com starts
the year off with changes all throughout the site. This year, while the site
was undergoing it's updates, my wonderful webmaster over at Web Trend, crashed
the old blog dating way back to the beginning of this website. So, history is
gone, which leads me to what a great year it will be starting out with a nice
clean slate.
?
Deal With It is still going strong,
I'm out promoting it as much as I can with and without the full band.
Recordings have begun as well for my next release which will be a rock acoustic
album which will be release late Spring 2009.
?
And my alter-ego side of performing,
it's been a busy year with Beatlemania and performing as John Lennon. You can
check out the websites for those productions

As always, I'll list any appearances
with those productions on my Tour page throughout the year. Some of the performance
dates don't make it to the Tour page if it's a late or quick booking due to the
time constraints in getting the information to the webmaster. So you can drop
me a line, like most of you do already, to see if there are any performances in
your area.

finished with it's updates, but all will be back to normal, new and improved,
